Hey everyone, I know it’s been a while, so I wanted to send over a quick update from The Takeoff, along with some exciting news.
Since our last post, our whole team has graduated from college and is now in the workforce. Michael is an Investor at Insight Partners, Lukas is part of the Founding Team at Elion, and I recently joined HashiCorp as an Associate Product Manager. Graduating, starting work, and life in general got us all pretty busy, and as you’ve noticed, we put a pause on The Takeoff.
Our mission at The Takeoff has always been to help students and other young professionals learn about startups & entrepreneurship, find roles at hot startups, launch companies of their own, and start making the world a better place for all. While we’ve solely focused on founders and investors for interviews in the past, over the coming weeks I am excited to launch a short series of conversations with product leaders at some of today’s most innovative organizations. These conversations will help our audience:
Learn more about what the product org looks like at hyperscale companies
Better understand what it takes to run one of these massive product orgs
Learn how to break into product management
And more!
I am excited to kick off this series in the near future, and if you have any recommendations for questions we should ask or folks to interview, feel free to shoot me a DM.
See you all in the next post!
